I love this place. I just had my brakes done here. They are honest and let you know exactly what needs to be done. No drama. They just get the work done. The place is clean and their prices are very reasonable. I am so happy I found them. This other car place told me I needed shocks and all this other stuff and Serge's was like, No, you need brakes and an oil change, period. I love these guys.

I've had my cars serviced by Serge and his team for several years. They've always been fair and resonable and they've consistently been a group of professionals I can depend on to let me know the condition of my car without adding a load of expensive crap to the list. It's a pleasure to work with them and they'll take good car of your vehicles. I recommend them without hesitation!

Serge and his partner are just great. Very honest and efficient. The waiting room was small, but clean, so I hung out there with my one year old. I would suggest Serges automotive to all my friends.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Barkev, the wonderful mechanic at Serge's who went above and beyond the call of duty recently. He was kind enough to lend me his own car for the evening when my car wasn't ready at the time he had projected. I needed to drive to Ventura Co and back for my job - a round trip of over 120 miles - and Barkev was perfectly agreeable to my using his car for this trip. Here is a mechanic who is not only smart about cars but is also concerned about his customers. He has my vote for mechanic of the year!

I can't say enough about Serge and his crew. I found him in 2003 and they are the best mechanics i've ever known. All their work on my Acura and Van have been extraordinary and with great service.

Serge's Automotive is great! I recently moved to La Crescenta and found Serge's Automotive online. Finding a new mechanic is always a pain but Serge's Automotive is definitely the right choice. I took my car in for various work, one of which is realignment since my car was pulling to the right. Serge informed me that they don't do realignment work but would send it out. After a couple of days. my car was still pulling to the right so I took it back. Without hesitation, Serge took my car back to check the alignment. When it came back, the alignment place said it was fine. Serge mentioned that the tires could be the reason because they tested the car by switching the front tires and it was pulling to the left. They showed me that it was wearing out. I thought about it and decided to change the tires at another place. My wife and I then test drove the car and it was still pulling to the right. I took it back and Serge personally said he would take care of it. He took it to a second alignment place to get it checked out. The second alignment place couldn't find the problem either. Serge personally test drove the car and found it was pulling to the right. He was honest and said he didn't know what was wrong with it and even refunded the alignment cost! Wow! Serge didn't give me a hard time at any point. I couldn't believe how good, and more importantly, how honest they are! I hardly, if ever, write reviews but his service was exceptional and deserved recognition. I am already telling my friends to go to Serge's.

I am really pleased with the work I recently had done to my volkswagen jetta. The night time drop-off was very convenient, the cost of the repairs were cheaper than anywhere else I've been and the service was excellent! It felt like I was a family, even though it was my first experience with Serge's. I've since been back once more and it was equally great. I highly recommend these guys! Thank you!

Recently relocated to Glendale from Davis California, I was worried I would not find an excellent mechanic for my 1982 Mercedes wagon. I trolled the internet looking for reviews. Serge's had the best recommendation, so I took my beloved car there for an oil change. That day began my love affair with Serge's Automotive. Unfailingly polite, Serge Vartazarian has described to me the many problems of my car and the best solutions. At times, he would say don't spend the money, it is not worth it. I have come to appreciate that. His shop is extraordinarily clean and his workers are long term, happy employees. Shop manager and master mechanic Barkev is talented and equally full of knowledge as Serge. Both men are interesting and trustworthy. A pleasantly appointed waiting room - complete with Business Week magazines and a computer - coupled with Serge's and Barkev's superb knowledge and service has hooked me. I would unconditionally recommend Serge's Automotive to anyone, hands down.

Having just moved here from the Midwest, we knew nobody and had no idea where to take our car for repairs. Serge's came highly recommended to us by locals here in La Canada. I took my car in for an exhaust leak, they replaced the old, and went above and beyond making me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend the guys to anyone!!!

I took my car to Serge's Automotive in La Crescenta for an intermittent and complex electrical problem that made my car loose power and even turn off at stop signs. In summary I am thoroughly impressed with the experience at this shop. Serge's mechanic did an outstanding job and even though my car has well over 200,000 miles it now drives like new. The engine runs much smoother and the car has at least 50% more power than it had before. The amazing thing is that they did all this for a price that was only a fraction of what the Nissan dealer charges for this type of repair. Thank you Serge, you have just earned a new customer for a lifetime. I cannot give a higher recommendation for these guys, 10 stars!!!

We recently moved to La Canada and needed both of our cars serviced. Serge's came highly recommended from people in the area. I have had both cars in and will keep going to them. They are knowledgeable, well-priced, honest and very personable. I highly recommend their excellent service and atmosphere!

Great! Serge and the team are very nice, knowledgeable and honest. They tell you what you need and don't try to upsell you. Prices for parts and labor are very fair. Definitely cheaper than the dealer, and they were nicer.

I took my BMW to Serge's after hearing from another mechanic that I probably needed to replace the engine. I was not happy, so I went to Serge for a second opinion. Serge and his crew investigated the ominous black smoke and determined that I just needed a new pcv valve. I saved about $4,000 by going to Serge. Next time I'm going to Serge first.

I had an emergency with my 1970 Chevelle that Serge's auto was able to repair within 20 minuets. This is the second time I have needed repair on various cars. I have finally found an honest,reliable and very personable auto shop for all my cars.

Very very much satisfied. Never felt so good with car repair mechanic guys. These guys took care of me as their family member. I went in for the radiator repair and they were cheaper on price and also they didn't charge me anything to fix 2 more minor things for my car. They also dropped me home and picked me up after fixing the car. They take real good care about you. Super like and I give 9/10 rating

My whole family has been taking their various cars to Serg for years and has been very pleased on every occasion. I recently spilled a chemical in my trunk which completely ruined the carpet. Serg replaced it quickly and at a quarter the price it would have been from the dealer. It looks better than new. It's wonderful to find a knowledgeable, honest, and trust-worthy business to fix my cars. Good service and very nice people--highly recommended (10/10).

I've been bringing my cars here for years and wouldn't think of taking them elsewhere. These guys are THE BEST! And I always enjoy our friendly chats. There is never a problem they can't diagnose and fix. They always charge a fair price and work quickly to return my car on time as promised. I'm very happy they picked La Crescenta to set up shop years ago, but I would travel some distance to get my car to them even if they were farther away.

Words can't fully express my appreciation for Serge, Barkev, George and the rest of the crew at Serge's Automotive for the outstanding service and professional care they have demonstrated over the 10 years I've been bringing our families cars to be serviced and repaired. You are treated as a family not just a client. More than once Serge has lent me his personal car to use when mine was being repaired. Growing up I learned it was important to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. I've found just that with Serge, and will be taking my cars to him and his crew forever!

I've been going to Serge since 1994. What I like best is that when I get an oil change, my car gets a check-up so any service/repair needs are met every 3,000 miles. Plus a history file is kept on my car so that I am reminded when it needs a timing belt or a tune-up. Serge, Barkev and the rest of the team are true professionals as well as honest and dedicated. Family friendly, they cannot be beat for getting to know you and your car. Great people!

I brought my car in on Friday late afternoon, because it was making some odd noises. I figured that they wouldn't approach the car till saturday or even monday like most shops. They examined the car and call me with all the diagnosis within in hour from dropping it off. I had a one big issues that I'm sure would have cost around $1000 + at a dealership not to mention how many days it would have taken. They were done first thing the next day. This was Excellent service, and Serge was more then happen to explain everything in terms that I could understand. Not to mention all the extra work that he recommended that I should not spend my money on. A+ service.

I've been taking my car to Serge for the last four years. There is no one better to do the job. i'm not a car person and have little to no knowledge of cars. Thus having a mechanic I can trust and one that can do a great job is very important to me. These guys are exactly that. They tell you what is wrong with you car, tell you how much it will be and get it done in a professional manor. Their customer service is amazing and above all their work is incomparable to others. If you want the job done right, honestly and at the best price, go no where but Serge's Auto.

WOW! First time customer at Serge's on a suggestion from a friend. Dealer wants $650 for a 60k service. Serge changed my oil replaced my headlights and gave it the once over for $87.00.

There is a reason that so many people rave about Serge's Automotive. The customer service is excellent, the prices are great and the work is always very high quality. Also, each service comes with a detailed report on my car: brakes, tires, belts, potential leaks. This isn't done to sell repairs I don't need - it is to make me aware to upcoming maintenance so I can anticipate it and schedule it when convenient.
